The Newport News Sheriff’s Office (NNSO) recognizes the importance of staying in contact with an incarcerated loved one.  It can be essential to their well-being and their progress.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages relatives and friends to maintain relationships with their loved one or friends via letters, phone calls, free video visits or with At Home – Inmate Visitation, a fee-based video visit service.

To create a positive experience, we ask for your cooperation in following all rules and regulations outlined in the Inmate Handbook when communicating with someone in the Jail.
