TRIAD is a partnership among law enforcement agencies, senior citizens and organizations geared to support seniors and reduce the fear and victimization. The intent of TRIAD is to assess the needs and concerns of elderly citizens, thereby providing appropriate resources, programs and services. The goals of TRIAD are to reduce criminal victimization, improve quality of life, focus on crime related needs, involve the community, and enhance law enforcement services to the elderly. These goals are accomplished through the Peninsula SALT Council which the Newport News Sheriff’s Office is proud to be an active participant on.
