Gather your personal papers for Shred Day 2023.

Sheriff Gabe Morgan is committed to protecting citizens from identity theft by offering free on-site shredding of personal papers each year.

dumping paper 768x346 The 2023 Shred Day will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 8 a.m . to 11 a.m. in the parking lot of Todd Stadium, which is located at 12465 Warwick Blvd. Sorry, this is not an event for businesses.

Enter and exit from Warwick Blvd. Members of the Sheriff’s Office will direct you to one of three shred trucks. NNSO employees and volunteers will remove papers from your vehicle.

Important info:

1. We cannot take papers in plastic bags since they cannot be shredded.
2. Please put your documents in paper bags, easy-open containers, or boxes. Please do not tape boxes shut.
3. Boxes will be emptied and returned to you, so you will need to wait for them.
4. This is not for businesses.

Destroying papers with personal information is a way to keep a thief from using your good name for bad things like opening credit card accounts, trying to claim your tax refund, and committing utilities, rental or bank fraud, to name a few examples.
